In the 1890s, the city of San Francisco suffered from corruption and mafia. In the Chinatown district of San Francisco, internal wars reached a particular scale. During this turbulent time, a young master of Eastern martial arts, A Same, arrives in the city from China. The young man is immediately drawn into bloody clashes between two dangerous rivaling gangs, the Tongs in Chinatown. A Same puts himself in mortal danger after his revenge plan, which he had been preparing for years, becomes known to his enemies.
