When family outcast Lucky Flynn learns that his mother is dying, he decides to drive to the other side of Australia to see her, packing nothing but an upright piano for the journey. But his plans are soon turned upside down when he meets the runaway teenager Meg, who’s dealing with some family demons of her own.

Lucky Flynn hasn't spoken to his family in years. When he learns that his mother has only days left to live, Lucky sets off in a hire car to drive the 4,000km from Sydney to Perth to say goodbye.2. Day Two
Lucky is desperate to see a doctor after losing his pills for his anxiety. But Meg has other ideas.3. Day Three
Meg is beside herself when she loses all of her's and Lucky's money. To make matters worse, they then run out of petrol.4. Day Four
Waiting for their ute to be repaired, Meg and Lucky join a campground party on the Great Australian Bight, but the night takes a nasty turn when Lucky discovers a suicide note.5. Day Five
Lucky starts to think he should give up when Meg takes off with his piano. Then, a snakebite gives him the wake-up call he needs.6. Day Six
A transformed Lucky prepares to make a major sacrifice. But it's not long before some bad news sends him spiralling into despair.7. Day Seven
Lucky finds himself paying the price for Meg's misdemeanours. But that's just the start, things are about to get a whole lot worse.8. Day Eight
There's tension as Lucky reunites with his brother. As Meg tries to smooth things over, she learns why Lucky had to bring the piano.

Lucky and Meg head out of Cairns, but Lucky's best forgotten past catches up with him.5. Fold
Wounded in the rainforest, Lucky is desperate to return to civilisation, but Meg wants to push on as they get close to finding her mother.6. Eskimo Jonestown
Meg and Lucky finally make it to the Wellfulness Commune, but don't get the reception they were expecting.7. Harmless Untruths
Trapped at the Wellfulness Commune, Lucky starts to unravel its secrets as Meg finally gets the chance to speak to her mother.8. Enough's Enough
After escaping the commune, Lucky and Meg race back to Sydney hoping to make it in time to meet Billie at the airport.
